Contract | Travel | Days (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to determine the physical and cognitive status of inpatients and outpatients, considering diagnosis and age-specific needs
• Develops and implements individualized treatment plans with patient and family participation, including measurable goals and methods to achieve them
• Adheres to documentation policies including initial evaluations, daily and weekly progress notes, discharge summaries, and other appropriate notations
• Participates in patient care conferences, family conferences, in-service programs, and departmental and interdepartmental meetings
• Assists with coordination and supervision of Physical Therapy and Physical Therapy Assistant student programs, as well as Licensed Physical Therapy Assistants, Rehab Technicians, and Volunteers
• Supports Performance Improvement activities and maintains departmental productivity standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or entry-level Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited college or university
• Current New Mexico Physical Therapist License required
• BLS certification via American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Must successfully complete pre-employment/post job offer health screening examination

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with both inpatient and outpatient populations
• Familiarity with supervising therapy assistants, rehab technicians, or student programs
• Knowledge of community resources and referral networks
